Summary
Fred Amphlett suffers from advanced Parkinson's disease. While the worst symptoms are kept at bay with medication, the side-effects of the drugs are uncontrollable body spasms which make sleep and everyday functioning extremely difficult. A new high-risk operation could either eliminate the side-effects or leave him in a worse state.
