From 1927, contains reports of High Court and Privy Council decisions. As from May 1958, the Australian Law Journal Reports are printed in a separate section of the monthly issues, and issued annually with individual title pages.

Each issue has an overall volume number e.g. 'Vol. 96/5 (2022)'. This volume also has abbreviations such as "ALJ 287-372" and "ALJR 367-475" used to abbreviate and cite each title 'Australian Law Journal' and 'Australian Law Journal Reports' separately. Both titles are published together as one volume....
