General note

First published in 1833 by Norie, this chart of the world on the Mercator's projection has additions to 1852 and is by Charles Wilson.

Norie conducted his business at the Naval Academy, 157 Leadenhall Street, London, from 1815 to 1830. His partner Charles continued there after Norie's death in 1843 as "Charles Wilson, Late J.W. Norie & Co."

Very large composite chart; the equator proper measures 175 cm. with additional overlap of 10 cm....
