Masonry and digging, [electronic resource] : on the Calder and Hebble Navigation. Masons who would undertake the building of a lock, and two pair of flood-gates on the river Calder, not far from Brighouse, may deliver in proposals for the same on Wednesday the 26th of April, at the house of Mr. Clegg, in Brighouse, to Mr. Jessop, engineer, who will be there on that and the two preceding Days, and will explain the Circumstances and Situation of the Work. Also, about three Quarters of a Mile in length of Cutting, will, at the same Time, be contracted for, of which a proper Explanation will be given upon the Place. April 17th, 1780.
