Letter dated November 16, 1864 from Aterea Puna "for all the tribes" to James Fitzgerald, followed by Fitzgerald's reply dated January 1865. The correspondence chiefly concerns Waitara and the causes of the wars in Taranaki and Waikato and disputes the justice of the confiscation of lands afterwards.
