The volume includes views on the North Shore, in the Blue Mountains, and yachting on Sydney Harbour; residences in and around Sydney, e.g. Casula, Arleston, Honola, but others unidentified; views from the roof of the Sydney Mint of Eight Hour Procession, and of Hyde Park; and views of Sydney's aqueducts.

The fly leaf is annotated 'R.H. to R.C.C. 1889' below a birthday card pasted in. The photographs are all dated and signed on the mount 'RH' or 'W.L.H.' but these seem to be in the same hand. Some photographs are also titled on the mount.
Attributions / Conjectures
Robert Hunt was an amateur photographer, and 'W.L.H.' may be a relative.
