On September 14, 1954. Lockheed-Hudson plane, VH-SML, disappeared whilst on a flight to Taree. The crew consisted of Capt. Douglas Hereward Swain and First Officer Alistair Sydney Colne Milne. There was also a passenger Mr David Burns. Copies of letters to Mrs Swain and Mrs Colne Milne asking if they would let the company have their husbands' pilot...
