Len Fox was heavily involved in the anti-war and social justice campaigns of the 1950s and 1960s. Some of these posters were made for peace and civil rights protests he and Mona Brand attended when they lived in Hanoi.

Len Fox (1905-2004) was a left-wing journalist, prolific author, artist and social activist based in Kings Cross. His uncle was the painter Emanuel Phillips Fox (1865-1915) and his auntie Ethel Carrick Fox (1872-1952). His partner was playwright Mona Brand (1915-2007). In the 1940s Fox was briefly a student in the Sydney ‘Studio of Realist Artists’...
