William Kopsen, 1847-1930, nee Bror Gustaf Wilhelm Kopsen, was born in Vaxholm, Sweden. In 1868 he left Sweden and in London boarded the ship Sahra Grice for Australia. In 1870 he settled in Fiji where he became a leader in the commercial, political and social life of the colony. In 1882 he was appointed Swedish Consul in Fiji. In 1889 he settled i...
