Administrative / Biographical history

Ernest Walter Pratt was born in Murwillumbah, 16 September 1873. He was a photographer in the 1890's. After obtaining a mariner's engineering certificate in 1900, he worked on boats trading in the islands until just after his marriage 25 October 1902, to Cecilia Harriet Weston. He became a plumber and lived in Annnandale. He died 23 July 1930.
