Inscribed on reverse of photograph: 'Old Euralie Yass (virtually now gone) from oil by late W Shearsby Yass circa 1890. First home at Yass of Hamilton Hume (?) circa 1831 - he moved to 'Cooma Cottage' Yass in 1839. Black hill at back is Mt Bowning'
