Administrative / Biographical history
Edwin Rider, steel engraver of Waterloo, NSW enlisted Jan. 1915 and served as a private of the 1st Division Infantry. He was wounded at Lone Pine Ridge, Gallipoli, 11 Aug. 1916, sent to England on hospital ship Karoola 24 Sept. 1915 and invalided back to Australia on Star of Victoria, Jan. 1916
