Some works have previously been removed from Glover's sketchbooks, often by previous owners, and placed elsewhere in other sketchbooks or other collections. Many of John Glover's sketchbooks were presented by Sir William Dixson in 1938.
They previously belonged to Robert Carl Sticht who acquired them from James William Hines.
