Administrative / Biographical history
For biographical details see Dawn, Jan 1967, pp. 1-2 and Dawn, Jan 1971, p. 16. Alexander Riley was the only NSW Aboriginal Policeman until at least 1971. He was famous for tracking down the serial murderer Moss in the 1930's for which he received the King's Medal, presented by Lord Wakehurst.
