George Robertson was co-founder of Angus & Robertson in 1886. George Robertson's daughter Bessie married John Ferguson, author of 'Bibliography of Australia', and their son George Ferguson later became Managing Director of A&R and President of the Australian Book Publishers Association (ABPA), 1949-1971.
