'Llanthony', Hunter's Hill, NSW, was built in 1884 for John Leo Watkins, barrister and NSW Parliamentary Draftsman. An imposing two storey stone house in the Italian villa style, its was erected on 12 acres of land which were part of 30 acres originally granted to James Everard by Governor Hunter in 1798.
