Administrative / Biographical history

Ian McInnes was a Victorian selected in the Australian team to compete in the 1923 International Lawn Tennis Challenge (Davis Cup). He accompanied fellow team members, J. O. (Jim) Anderson, J. B. (Jack) Hawkes and Bob Schlesinger to the United States, where Australia lost 4-1 to the Americans in the Challenge Round.
