Marguerite McNeill, artist, opera devotee and historian, compiled an extensive collection of papers relating to the career of her friend Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge. Initially donated to the Dennis Wolanski Library of the Performing Arts, Sydney Opera House, the collection was transferred to the Mitchell Library in 1996.
