Joseph Isa Majambere was born in 1982 in Burundi of a Catholic Tutsi mother and Hutu Muslim father. Following his father's death, the family fled the country and lived in various refugee camps for 14 years before their resettlement in Australia, where Joseph works as a community care case manager in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales.
