Letters refer to his diggings and his wife's search for him over a period of three years. He left his family because his wife [space] Noble) induced his daughter who was only 16 1/2 years to marry Mrs Gange's grandfath...

Leather cases for MIN 453-MIN 455 are lacking a cover. MIN 453, bottom edge of case is partly detached. MIN 454 lacks glass pane and preserver; brass mat and image are loose. MIN 455 is missing top edge of case, and lacking brass mat, preserver and glass pane, image is loose. MIN 456 is in a complete case.
