Edgar King Upton, an ‘operative’, of Rockdale, Sydney, enlisted in the A.I.F. aged 21, Jan. 1916 and embarked from Sydney on the Osterley, Feb. 1917. He served with the 14th Field Ambulance in France and returned to Australia on the Konigin Luise, June 1919
