Magda Verebes, nee Lebovics, born in Budapest, 1924. Father successful furrier. In 1939 father died. Brother taken from school, aged 19, by Hungarian milita for forced labour camp in Russia. In 1941 Magda married. Husband called up by army for labour service in 1941. Got work in cigarette factory to avoid deportation. In 1944 mother taken to ghetto...
