Frank Miller was born on Banaba in 1920. His father, John Robert Miller, was employed as a carpenter, and later as a Foreman of Works, at Banaba from 1908 till 1939, with a break to serve with the First New Zealand Regiment during World War I. His mother, Beatrice Amy Miller, lived on Banaba from 1918 till 1939. His sister, Joy Miller (Mrs Taylor)...
