陳恭尹 （1631-1700) 是明末清初 “嶺南三大家” 之一， 擅詩文， 長書法， 同時又是位出色的文藝理論家。 其理論觀點，涉及到文學的本質論、創作論、發展論以及文藝批評等系列重要問題， 頗多發人深省之處。 他的文藝思想， 上承明代公安 “三袁” 的觀點而糾其偏， 下開清代袁枚 “性靈說” 之先河； 有清晰的證據表明， 葉燮 （1627-1703) 的名著 《原詩》， 也極可能是在其理論與創作的啟發影響下最終得以充實、完成的。 可見， 陳恭尹的理論思想對清代文學發展有不容忽視的意義， 在中國文藝思想史上應佔有相當的一席， 可惜這一點卻遠未為人們普遍認識。 本文著重介紹陳恭尹有關文學創新的理論， 包括 “化古開新” 以及應如何 “化古開新” 等問題， 對今天的文藝創作， 相信仍有其啟發、...
