The genus 'Myopsalta Moulds', 2012 comprises 23 species endemic to Australia. A new species, 'Myopsalta bisonabilis' sp. n. is described from near Port Germein to near Port Pirie, the Greater Adelaide region and from Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. The male calling song of the new species is analysed, described and illustrated.
