WQVR also is hoping to relocate its tower in order to send out a stronger signal, according to Russ Dowd, operations manager for the two stations. Dowd said an engineering study is under way to determine whether WESO, which broadcasts from 6 a.m. to dusk, could expand to a 24- hour format as well.
