The following is a letter Fathi Habashi received in regard to "The social responsibility of scientists--Two historic lessons," published in the Jan 2004 issue of the CIM Bulletin. Paul E. Auger knew Cyrus Stephen Eaton and had in his possession letters relating to the Pugwash conferences, providing a few glimpses of history.
