As part of a major restructuring of its operations, Laporte (Luton, UK) has agreed to sell its L100 million/year European adhesives and sealants business to Elf Atochem for L110 milllion in cash. Atochem will integrate the business into AtoFindley, a company it formed following the acquisition in early 1996 of Findley Adhesives.
