Sean Chen, chief of the executive body, will be replaced on Feb. 18 by Jiang Yi-Huah, deputy chief of the executive body. Chen will later become a mentor for Taiwanese authorities. Chen resigned last week after learning of health problems following a medical checkup. His resignation was approved by Taiwan's leader Ma Ying-jeou.
