Oct. 4--Patrick Hoey, owner, president and lone employee of Tulsa- based Air Cabin Enhancement Services, made some contacts and discovered business opportunities at the Aerospace Alliance of Tulsa's general membership forum Thursday. A vital and singular organization in Tulsa more than a decade ago, the Aerospace Alliance dried up and blew away in lean times. It was revived last fall by a handful of key aerospace executives who valued the organization for its networking and information- dispensing capabilities. The organization Thursday issued a supplier directory of member companies and key executives. The information also is available on the Web at www.aerospaceallianceoftulsa.com. Industry trends also merit cooperation and outsourcing by companies such as Boeing and American and the multifaceted Tinker, which employs 24,000 people, 60 percent of whom are expected to retire within seven years, said Brig.
