《文宗阁杂记》原署为汪中之作,收于《清代稿本百种汇刊》,后又收入今人整理编定的《新编汪中集》。今逐条检核全书的172条笔记,俱由《容斋随笔》、《四朝闻见录》、《六研斋笔记》等十一种书抄来,且无一字按语,故其并非学人的＂著作＂。又考《杂记》中所载诸条,又多与汪中的生平为学及持论矛盾不合,即使为读书笔记,亦不能出于汪中之手,所以断其为近代书贾所托名的伪书。
