Administrative / Biographical history
Walter D. White, 1857-1941, public servant, writer and poet, worked as an Inspector of Schools in New South Wales in the early 1900s. In this post, he was required to travel throughout rural towns, often contributing prose and poetry to local publications as well as to the metropolitan press.
