Administrative / Biographical history

Arthur Ross Clayton was a medical practioner who was commissioned in the Australian Army Medical Corps in 1912. On 10 September 1915 he was promoted to captain, and on reaching Egypt served at the 1st Australian General Hospital and the 3rd Australian Auxiliary Hospital at Heliopolis.
