The volume includes twenty five sketches by Lempriere of which nineteen are signed 'T.J.L.' or 'T.J. Lempriere'. Other sketches, signed by members of the Ross family, are of European views.
Also included are ten photographs dated ca. 1912, by John Watt Beattie of original paintings of Macquarie Harbour, Hobart, Port Arthur and the 'Lady Franklin...
