Vivienne Binns was born in Wyong, N.S.W. in 1940. She trained at the National Art School, East Sydney Technical College, 1958-1962. Her first solo exhibition was in 1967 at the Watters Gallery, where she has since exhibited many times in various media, including performance and installation works.
