Administrative / Biographical history
Wylde was offered the position of deputy-judge-advocate of New South Wales in 1815 and arrived in Sydney in October, 1816. Forbes was recommended for the post of chief judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales by Bathurst, 3rd Earl Bathurst, and arrived in Sydney in March, 1824.
