Bannister's own copy of his book with many annotations in his hand. The book was printed in one volume by William Kirkbride of Cape Town in 1827, but this copy has been divided into two volumes, presumably so that Bannister could include additional material. A note in this copy states that the first 74 pages were originally produced as a pamphlet....
