Administrative / Biographical history

Lilly Kalina, nee Beran, was born in Prague (Czechoslovakia) in 1921. Her life changed in 1939 when many restrictions were placed on Jews. Some of her relatives fleeing Sudentenland moved in with her. Lilly worked with her fiance who was a medical officer at the depot for transports which gave her and her parents protection from deportation. They w...
