Administrative / Biographical history
Darlinghurst Public School is in the Newton and Waterloo areas of Sydney. In 1890 School enrolment reached 1064. In 1900 Agriculture, Science, Domestic Science and Carpentry were taught in the school curriculum.
In 1910, due to increased population and lack of space at the school, parents petitioned for better accommodation for the school.
