Administrative / Biographical history
T. M. Royds, 1824-1852, arrived in Sydney in 1842 by the ship Duke of Manchester. He married E. J. Roberts in 1845 and settled at Braidwood, N.S.W. Among their children were Thomas Molyneux, 1846-1847, Edmund M., born 1847 and William E. His brothers, Charles James and Edmund M. later emigrated also. C. J. Royds took up land at Gayndah, Queensland
