Robert Buntine was born on 11 July 1830 in Fenwick Ayrshire, Scotland. He emigrated on 26 September 1838 from Fenwick Ayrshire Scotland aboard the barque "William Rodger" with parents Hugh Buntine and Mary Symington.

John Symington was born, Fenwick Ayrshire, Scotland in 1812 and died on 20 December 1877. He married Elizabeth Gebbie Lindsay...
