Sydney Harbour Foreshore Conservation Management Plan (2005) - "Figure 36 - Mariners' Church c.1860, a year after its construction. Archives state the date of the photo as 1871; this appears to be incorrect, the pipes are sewerage pipes ... Laying the pipes was completed in the Rocks in 1861 which would date the photo between February 1859 and 1861...
