Unsigned. Titled on back on a label reading 'Louise Australia Blaxland, born at Parramatta N.S.Wales. 28th May, 1807, died in 1888. Daughter of John and Harriott Blaxland of Newington in Kent England & Newington Parramatta River'.

Undated; the portrait shows Louisa as a young woman which suggests that the painting may have been done between 1825 and 1840.
