The collection included a lock of Albert Tirbutt's hair (possibly cut in 1908) but this has been discarded.

Administrative / Biographical history

Irene Sharpham (nee Tirbutt) performed as a soprano in Sydney as well as London and Wellington, New Zealand. In later years she became a freelance journalist and executive director of the University of New England Union and president of the Armidale branch of the Liberal Party.She died in 2006.
