Administrative / Biographical history

The Sydney Cove Map, at the entrance to First Fleet Park at Circular Quay in Sydney, was designed by architects Conybeare Morrison & Partners for the Public Works Department of N.S.W. and sponsored by Caltex. The map, cast in terrazzo and bronze and surrounded by a seat cut from Kent Street sandstone, shows the settlement at Sydney Cove in 1808....
