Signature / Inscriptions

None of the original items are signed, fifty nine are dated and sixty seven are titled. The front cover of the sketchbook is titled 'Tierra del Fuego IV' and 'Tierra del Fuego & Valparaiso 1834'. A note on a loose sheet in the original volume in Lady Stanham's hand reads 'These books contain many sketches by Conrad Martens now valuable'.
