Arthur Dicks came to Sydney in 1970 to develop the Production Course at NIDA after success in London as a commercial artist and theatre designer. In 1975 he left NIDA and worked with the Old Tote and the WA ballet company before joining the Q Theatre as Associate Director and Head of Design in the late 70s.
