Edward William O'Sullivan (1846-1910), printer, journalist and parliamentarian, was born at Launceston, Tasmania, son of Peter and Mary Anne O'Sullivan. He was trained as a printer at the Hobart Mercury before writing for the newspaper. He established the Tasmanian Tribune in 1871 before moving to Melbourne in 1874 where he established the Evening...
