The Board of Directors was established to Manage and make high-level decisions for Associated Newspapers Limited. The Board appears to have continued after the acquisition of Associated newspapers by John Fairfax in 1956, a minute book survives from the year 1973 and annual reports were still prepared until at least 1980.
