Sir William Dixson's small red stamp is placed below lower left corner of frame line.

Foxed and soiled.

Near top left corner is a rough pencil sketch.

At left edge of sheet a column of pencilled notes, upside down, lists steps in the preparation of an etched plate, and these are continued at top and bottom edges.

Signature / Inscriptions

Signed 'S Ure S. Aug 26th 1915.', and upside down 'S. Ure S.'

'Set III - 4' is written in pencil near bottom right corner of sheet.

On back 'The Council Yard McMahon's Pt' is written in pencil in the hand of Sir William Dixson.
